ABOUT ROBIN
I am a behavioural ecologist studying the evolution of social behaviour. My research is on great ape social behaviour with a particular focus on mountain gorillas and western lowland gorillas. I use long-term data to investigate gorilla society, modelling relationships within and between gorilla groups, dispersal and movement patterns, and life history processes.
I am an Ambizione Research Fellow in the Department of Evolutionary Anthropology at the University of Zurich and an Affiliate Scientist at the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund‘s Karisoke Research Center in Rwanda. I completed my PhD at the University of Cambridge and conducted field work at Mbeli Bai, Nouabale-Ndoki National Park, Republic of Congo and Ngaga Research Site, Odzala National Park, Republic of Congo.
